About Us


- Audra Zimmermann -


POSITION: President and Co-Owner
EDUCATION: M.L.S., Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT, B.A., Sociology, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT

As Operations Manager, Audra monitors staffing and workflow as projects move through DGI's processes. In addition, Audra provides management and coordination for complex, special projects. Projects often take Audra to client sites for extended periods of time. Audra is also a cataloger and has participated in the Library of Congress NACO certification training program.



- Bob Geoghegan -


POSITION: Vice President and Co-Owner
EDUCATION: B.A., Philosophy, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York

Bob is responsible for maintaining the network and telecommunications infrastructure for DGI. Bob is regularly called upon to work with DGI clients in the planning, design and implementation of local area networks. Bob also specializes in data migration and analysis.

In addition, Bob's experience supporting DGI project managers with the migration or customization of database information further enhances the company's extensive service offerings.



- Susan Yannello -


POSITION: Manager, Retrospective Conversion and Cataloging Services
EDUCATION: M.L.S., Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT, B.A., Psychology, Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

As Manager of Retrospective Conversion, Susan plans and supervises retrospective conversion projects. This involves developing project specifications, training staff, and managing communications with the client. Through this work, she has developed expertise with OCLC, RLIN, and numerous other cataloging utilities. Susan manages selected cataloging projects, including shelf-ready processing and cataloging of electronic books. In addition, Susan serves as DGI's liaison to the Program for Cooperative Cataloging at the Library of Congress and has participated in the NACO certification training program.



- Pat McCurdy-Crescimanno -


POSITION: Manager, Business Development -- Project Manager, Cataloging in Publication
EDUCATION: M.L.S. Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT, A.B., Russian, Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA

As the Manager of Business Development, Pat is responsible for marketing DGI's services to our clientele. Pat also manages cataloging for Publisher's Cataloging-In-Publication (PCIP).




- Gail Deninger -


POSITION: Project Manager, Cataloging
EDUCATION: M.L.S., Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT, M.A., Fine Arts, Syracuse University, Syracuse NY, B.A., English and Fine Arts, Syracuse University, Syracuse NY

Gail is responsible for managing professional cataloging projects for DGI. Services include original and copy cataloging in all bibliographic formats both in English and western European languages for academic, corporate, school, public and special library clients. She is experienced in cataloging on OCLC, and has been involved in the design and supervision of OCLC retrospective conversion, original cataloging, and reclassification projects. Gail has participated in the Library of Congress NACO certification training program.


- Tatyana Eckstrand -


POSITION: Project Manager, Audiovisual Cataloging
EDUCATION: M.L.S., University of Buffalo, Buffalo NY, B.A., Biology, Kenyon College, Gambier OH

Tani brings over fifteen years of cataloging experience to DGI, including ten years as Head of Technical Services. She manages both ongoing and special audiovisual cataloging projects, and performs original cataloging and quality control for audiovisual materials and for public and academic library cataloging projects.

POSITION: Project Manager, Client Site
EDUCATION: M.L.S., Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT, B.A., English, University of Connecticut, Storrs CT

Heather specializes in offsite project management and performs original and copy cataloging for public and academic library cataloging projects.


- Margaret Moore -


POSITION: Project Manager, Archives Services
EDUCATION: M.S., Library and Information Science with concentration in Archives Management, Simmons College, Boston, MA; B.A., Art History, Amherst College, Amherst, MA.

Margaret provides original and copy cataloging services for on-site and off-site projects. As archivist, Margaret consults on and performs all aspects of archives projects for clients, including arrangement, processing, rehousing & preservation issues, and description.


- Jeff Klojzy -


POSITION: Project manager, Custom Processing
EDUCATION: B.A., Philosophy, University of Connecticut, Storrs CT

Jeff specializes in copy cataloging for audiobook materials, and manages staff and workflow for clients who request customized MARC records and physical processing.



- Anita Kazmierczak -


POSITION: Foreign Language and Rare Books Cataloger
EDUCATION: M.S.L.I.S. Palmer School of Library & Information Science, Long Island University, Manhattan Campus; M.A. Polish Language and Literature, Kazimierz Wielki University, Bydgoszcz, Poland; Russian Proficiency certification (First category), Sumy State University, Sumy, Ukraine.

Anita's responsibilities include original and copy cataloging in all bibliographic formats. She is involved in a number of projects in collaboration with academic, corporate, school, public and special library clients. These projects involve materials in a variety of languages, including English and Classic languages, as well as all major European languages.





- Christine N. Donohue -

POSITION: Founder and retired President
EDUCATION: M.S.L.S., Simmons College, Boston MA
B.A., English Literature, St. Mary's College, South Bend IN

In 1977, after nearly a decade as a special librarian, Christine formed a small company to provide on-call library services. In 1984 the company was incorporated and later became The Donohue Group, Inc. (DGI). Since then DGI has grown to employ 20+ full-time library professionals in offices in Windsor, Connecticut. Christine assists clients with long-range planning and serves as a consultant to DGI.
